Garon is a sophomore currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. He’s the son of two Purdue alums, Jason and Galyn Young, and is originally from the South Bend area in northern Indiana. Garon attended Saint Joseph High School where he was president of the National Honor Society, a member of the Spanish honor society, a St. Joe Scholar, an honor roll student, peer mentor, and he played lacrosse and tennis. At Purdue Garon has been into weight lifting and he joined Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Next year he plans to be a Boiler Gold Rush Team Leader and get more involved with his fraternity.
